Emergency Care & Safety Institute

ECSI programs meet the latest Consensus on Science and Treatment Recommendations from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and the current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) guidelines and are offered in association with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Emergency Physicians—two of the most renowned medical organizations in the world. These organizations provide medical direction to ECSI and stand behind the content of our training materials.

The medical content in all ECSI courses is consistent with the latest CPR, AED and first aid guidelines. All ECSI courses are updated to reflect the 2015 ILCOR Consensus Guidelines for CPR and ECC. All ECSI courses meet or exceed the medical objectives of similar training programs, such as those released by the American Heart Association.

ECSI certificates are recognized globally and are good for 2 years from date of issue. Students receive an electronic copy of their certificate via email, a laminated wallet card and a wall sized certificate. Since books are no longer distributed, students receive access to online resources for 2 years.
